"Hi! I'm Stepheni & I graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute way back in 2013. Fun fact: I was 1 of 7 students in Michigan to win a nationwide contest during my time there! I am originally from Up North (Boyne City) and currently live in GR with my amazing husband, our 2 kids & our 2 cats. I'm an ally - a sagittarius - a witch - a weirdo - who loves true crime documentaries, crafting and trash reality tv. Among lots of other things. I genuinely love human connection (even when my anxiety says otherwise) & love to talk, but have no problem shutting up if you prefer. I love music! When my kids let me listen to what I want, it's usually 2000's emo, hip hop or indie. But I can find a song I like from every genre. Although I've been in the industry for over 10 years, this will be my first time as an independent stylist! I am so excited to finally embark on this journey at Lilith's Lair & to tap back into a part of my creativity that I lost along the way. I cannot wait to meet you!"

"My name is Phoenix Pfeifer! I’ve been a stylist since 2025 but have been unofficially doing my own hair and friends’ hair since high school. I received my formal cosmetology training at Douglas J Aveda Institute and graduated in March. Some of my favorite projects during this past year have been vivid color melts, curly haircuts, shaggy/mullety androgynous cuts and doing my mom’s and sister’s highlights. I love working with my clients to help create the hairstyle of their dreams that express who they are. I have 3 cats: Sofie, Norah, and Ashtray. I am a Libra sun with a Pisces moon and Leo rising. Some of my favorite TV shows are Bojack Horseman, Bob’s Burgers, and The Great North (I’m a big adult animation fan). If you ever want to talk about music or magic, I’m your guy! Before doing hair, I studied cello performance at U of M for four years. I prefer he/they pronouns, but I won’t get offended if you slip up! I am queer and genderfluid/nonbinary, and live with my fiancé Gwen, who is a jack-of-all-trades artist (think tattoos, pen on paper, ink, paint, woodworking, you name it). They are my muse and I love to do their hair since they let me experiment and play around with whatever colors my heart desires. I am happy to offer quiet services as I am an introvert myself and will be working out of the back/quiet room."

“My name is Lexi and I have been a hairstylist since 2020. Before doing hair I was a med technician for elder care. The more I explored the world of hair the more passionate I became! I am a bubbly stylist but I also appreciate a silent appointment if that is your vibe. Mental Health and self-care are very important to me and the services I provide. I am here to listen or talk. I have been married to my partner for ten years. I am a dog Mom to Misaka, a 120 lb Great Dane. I have an eclectic taste for books, audiobooks, music, and podcasts. “Hi, my name is Megan Steck! I have been a stylist since 2023. If you like people who are strange and unusual then I’m the person for you as I myself am strange and unusual. (Hopefully this reference is understood) Starting off with the basics: I go by She/They, I am a bisexual menace, I prefer rock or alt music, I love watching anime, and reading romance fantasy. Hopefully you’re ready to have in depth convos about these things because that will happen. However I know how scary talking can be so if you’d rather be silent during your appointment just let me know! Now for the more in depth details: I’m a practicing pagan as well. In fact, I work very closely with Aphrodite! Feel free to chat with me if you’re interested in working with deities or if you also work with them. While I’m home, I love relaxing with my 3 dogs, 2 cats, and my beloved bearded dragon and I will gladly show pictures if asked! Please don’t hesitate to show off your furry or scaly babies either; I love animals of all kinds. Speaking of animals, like a good neurodivergent bisexual I have an obsession with a specific animal. That animal is the lovely opossum! (Fun Fact: I have 780+ opossum memes on my phone) The last little bit of things you should know about me is that I have Type 2 Narcolepsy, C-PTSD, Avoidant Personality Disorder, depression, and anxiety. For those who might not know, narcolepsy is a type of sleep disorder. A very important thing to know would be there are some days I simply cannot get out of bed. While I am on medication sometimes it just doesn’t help. This shouldn’t be too much of an issue but I will always be sure to communicate if it does become one.”

“My name is Maddie! I've been in cosmetology since 2018, and have loved everyday behind the chair! I have always wanted to be a hairstylist or makeup artist, before doing hair I was pursuing Special Effects Makeup, but it happened to be that hair was my calling! I'm an upbeat, excited, and outgoing stylist! You'll catch me doing a happy dance throughout the day! I recently married my loving partner Dustin! I love everything plants and animals, and can talk for hours about it! I have a beautiful bunny and 2 amazing goldfish that I've had for half my life! Mental health and self care is very important to me and in my services, I'm here to listen and talk! I love talking about anything and everything, you got a weird question about whatever, ask it and we'll have a fun conversation! I love music and was in a rock band for 2 years playing bass, I don't play anymore but music is still a huge part of my life! I've spent my life going to the beach and traveling as much as I can, most of the time you'll catch me looking for fish in the water, shells on the beach, and bug and animals on land! "My name is Coyana! (Koi-anna). I started doing hair in 2024. What do I love about doing hair? It knows no bounds, artistry has no limits. I love everything from Blonding, to dimensional vivids, and curly cuts are my heart and soul. I have a passion for equality and as a stylist I will never look at someone’s hair and say this is too hard. I love all things nature, anime/other animations/cartoons, D&D, and video games! I’d say my personal style fluctuates between fashion icon and comfy. I’ve been an out and proud bisexual since 13, as well as becoming comfortable with my identity as a nonbinary person in my time since then. I’ve got crazy levels of ADHD, and I will forget what I’m talking about when focusing on hair! I love crafting, I find myself finger knitting in my free time, or you may also find me playing my Cello at orchestra, and pulling out other instruments I’ve used during my years in band. I’m also an author of a somewhat badly written apocalypse novel, please ask me about my writing ideas that never made it on paper! "Hey I’m Kapryce. Ive been a stylist since 2020. I’m the mom of two tiny humans, and two fur babies and we all live together with their dad, my partner, Ty-he’s outnumbered by far! I’ve always had passion for the industry! I grew up giving “make overs” to my aunts, braiding all my cousins hair, painting nails, what have you. I was always in somebody else’s business. It’s finally time I’m in my own! I’m determined to have the life I know I deserve, so I work hard and I’m meticulous when it comes to perfection. Aside from doing hair, I enjoy cooking, and curling up to relax and watch my shows. I’m an Aquarius! So yes, I actually do know everything, haha! Kidding, but I do love to learn! "My name is Lore Signore-Zeiders! I’ve been a stylist since 2021. I specialize in vivid hair color, mullets, shags, color blocking, & razor cutting. I am married to my partner Cyris we've been together for over a decade. Cy and I live together with our 11 cats. I also volunteer at an animal shelter once a week. I am an aquarius sun with a cancer rising and an aquarius moon. Music & art are also another big part of my life and I love to sing. I love going to concerts when I can manage to! "Hi I'm Aynsley! I got my cosmetology license in 2017 and specialize in gender-affirming styles, curly hair and wigs.  I've always been fascinated by the geometry of cutting hair and love to create interesting shapes that compliment someone's features. Curly hair has always been my biggest passion, and I work hard to arm my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make curls look their best. My favorite color projects are dimensional looks like highlights and balyage and subtle fashion colors that you can wear to your corporate job.  My first love was wigmaking & styling and I use my 10 years of theatre and opera experience to makes custom wigs.  When I am not in the salon or backstage, you can find my playing a board game, curled up with a book, or taking my cat for a walk. "

"Hi, my name is Emily Hoffman. I got my cosmetology license in 2021. A huge part of my life is centered around animals/animal activism. I’ve been vegan for 7 years now and can’t see myself ever changing that. I’m also a huge lover of all things Halloween/spooky/horror related. Currently I have 1 kitty living with me; my sweet sweet angel boy Giovanni. He makes my life so much brighter. Know if you’re in my chair, he will most likely come up. I can’t wait to meet you!"

"Hi! I'm Kira! Outside of work, I am an artist, green-thumb, collector, and a total dork. I make art in various mediums including painting, drawing, jewelry making, and of course hair and makeup. My ability to express myself in many different ways is one of my favorite parts about me. I also love to be outside in nature. Gardening, tending to my plants, and watching them grow brings me a great deal of joy and fulfillment in life. Aside from that, I really like to explore through the woods, find cool rocks, hang out by some water, and go camping. As far as collecting goes, I’m very much a maximalist. I collect a lot of old/obsolete technology like CDs, retro game systems, CRTs, computers, VHS tapes, and so much more. I also have an odd affinity for vintage cigarette, beer, and liquor branded memorabilia. I’ve built most of my collections through thrifting, garage sales, and flea markets. In terms of my more dorky hobbies (as if the last few weren’t weird enough), I play video games on a practically daily basis. I predominantly am interested in retro games, my favorite consoles being the Nintendo 64, GameCube, and SNES. My all time favorite game series is The Legend of Zelda, and if I elaborate any more on that subject, I will absolutely talk your ear off, so I’ll keep it brief for your own sake. Aside from classic games, I also build computers and play some slightly more modern games on my PC like Bioshock, Minecraft, Apex, Palworld, and more. I also enjoy playing tabletop games. I play Magic: The Gathering, I’m way too good at poker, and every Saturday my partner and I host a DnD session with our friends. That’s about it for my hobbies. A little more about myself is that I’m engaged to the most amazing partner, his name is Dusk. We are expecting our first child in February of 2024, and I could not be more excited to start a family together. I don’t really know what else to say about myself, so yeah that's me!"

"My name is Bailey Young. I’ve been a stylist since 2017. I live with my partner and our two cats! I am a cancer sun, sagittarius rising, and Aquarius moon. “My name is Sydney Bleshenski! I’ve been a stylist since 2020. I am from a very small town on the East side of Michigan. I moved here to be closer to family and absolutely fell in love with this salon and the people within it. Aside from my salon family, I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, lots of fish, and an amazing partner. I just recently bought a house in the area so any time I am not at work, I am doing lots of fun (and not so fun) house projects and I’m constantly scavenging Facebook marketplace for new treasures! I am a Cancer so I have a very emotional and caring personality. I want everyone I meet to feel comfortable opening up to me in whatever way they need to, I’d like to think I’m a good listener. I am very crafty. I enjoy painting, knitting, punch needling and DIY-ing anything I can. I even make handmade strip lashes and sell them at the salon!
